Animal Shelter is the first Game Jam submission by A Fancy Group of Bears.
It was made for the Cozy Spring Jam 2024.

WHAT IS THE GAME?
Animal Shelter is a relationship game where each run you build relationships with animals, each animal has 3 events and 3 unique endings depending how close a bond you shared. There are 5 main animals... and possibly another? (17* unique endcards).

It was made in a combined 18 hours over 3 days for the Jam, and is the first game by a bunch of people who've never made games.

How To Play:
Click to progress text and click on locations to meet animals, but be careful, some days some animals aren't available, so make your choices wisely!

WHO ARE THE FANCY GROUP OF BEARS?

Idiots.

We had our Expert English artist, who is also a bird, make the visuals. (birbplane)
Had the story written by our avant-garde anime protagonist writer. (Jayke)
And a handsome raccoon did the code. (Ringune)

It is our first submission, and first "finished" game, so it may be a little scuffed.

We hope to make more games for jams in the future!
...and we will never let the bird draw anything ever again, even if he is Paint's Picasso (no he did not draw our logo that was Kirby, a good friend of ours).
